Alright so this is next week.

What days are you coming out?

I'll be out there Wednesday afternoonish.  my daughter is still debating if she is going.  if she doesn't go i will leave Wed. morning probably.  Amber is going to come out Thursday after work i believe and stay til Friday.  she has plans on Saturday with her sisters.

I want to run something Wednesday
just all bad luck at this point.  whatever is the worst that can happen will

I'll be leaving about 9 am Wednesday morning so should be out there by noon.

I shortened my misalignment spacers today and its going to work so i just need to get a 4" bolt from copper state tomorrow and i will be ready to roll.  Blazer is still on the trailer from last week so I am ready to go.
My passenger front tire is flat but i ran it with 7 psi last weekend so i'm thinking i have a slow leak in it somewhere.
just all bad luck at this point.  whatever is the worst that can happen will

Thanks for a great time guys....too much fun. It turns out I just shattered an axle. I thought it was a lot worse after listening to it clank, bang and grind on the almost 2 hour limp back to camp. The diff was uninjured. The axle was guaranteed so a new one is on it's way from Yukon. I yanked the whole rear axle out of the buggy on Tuesday and drug it into the shop. I'll take the opportunity to rebuild/refresh/replace/paint everything on it while its out.

Thanks again, I can't wait run Florence again. You kids have some great trails down there.

thanks for coming out George and glad it was minimal damage.  You asked to run with the big boys so how was it compared to some of the other trails/states you have wheeled?
Hope to have you out next year again.

BTW, we run Table Mesa for another club event in March if you're interested. It's a lot smaller but still a blast

From what I have seen the Florence trails and obsticals are comparable to to some of the more difficult trails around. Each area is unique of course, different types of rock, topography, and conditions but I think Florence has something to challenge every buggy and driver.

My buggy group from New Mexico do two or three wheeling trips a year. We're going to the Hammers at the beginning of January and were thinking of hitting up Table Mesa around March. So maybe we can coordinate our trip with your club event, if that would be OK. I always file a report with them about my wheeling trips around the country and they are also interested in a Florence run sometime.
