Sycamore carnage

Was at Sycamore this Saturday and Sunday while this was being pulled out. Forestry service  now has individual fines  for spilling oil, coolant and battery acid of 10K each. They gave him six days grace to get it out.

He had plenty of friends and onlookers helping at one time there were 20 people and almost as many shovels removing sand from it.  I used my truck for an anchor a few times. Joe tried on Saturday but the water was too hi only about six inches of the roof were above the water and there was no getting the sand out. When it got stuck Friday the water was moving 1280 feet per minute, Sat was 650 and Sun was 320.  Once some of the sand was out they ended up using Hi lift jacks to lift it up and two winches.

JYD:
Wow!

Yes it does Sycamore sucked that down a couple of feet. Every one who shoveled on that recover deserves a round of applause.
