Which is stronger output for tcase 1410 or flange?
« on: April 19, 2017, 12:36:42 PM »
Looking at doing a round drive shaft once I get my front 3 link completed.
What is stronger for a 205 tcase front output;  flange which is currently installed or a 1410?

Don't need to bring driveshaft angle into the disucssion just looking for strength since it's only a buggy and never streeted
It would be a non-cv driveshaft.

Figured we needed something new to talk about on here

just all bad luck at this point.  whatever is the worst that can happen will

Angles aside, a 1410 allows for more flex....larger, more.  But a 1410 is uber tough.

I'm thinking 1410 is the way I want to go.  Strong and all my joints would be the same for drive lines for spare simplicity.
