Well I hit a little snag today. Superior sent me the wrong ring gear bolts for my D44  Unfortunately I didn't find this out until after I drilled out my carrier to fit the wrong 1/2" bolts they sent me   :punchballs: Fortunately after looking around my junk in the garage I happened to find another carrier that I've been tripping over for the last 4 years  Just goes to show you should NEVER THROW ANYTHING AWAY, no matter how much your wife nags you about all the junk (I really mean valuable parts) you have laying around. Now all I need are the right bolts.

I got the front ring and pinion set up done today, hardest part was making a set of setup bearings. I'll have it done tomorrow and take to Prescott on Friday for some highway break in. Can't wait to get out and see how it wheels now.

Well in the last 5 days I've gotten a few things done. I pulled out the rhoads lifters I put in a few months ago and made some changes to the carb and it's really woke my engine up. I removed the ORD zero rate add a leafs to lower it an inch and trimmed the front fenders, I did fill and weld all gaps left from trimming and shaped the fender well back and made a new anchor point to replace the one I cut out. After 3 years of procrastinating I finally made some side panels for the back. I put the vents on to allow some air for the amps to cool.

Well I said I was going to do cross over steering so I ordered everything last Monday. Some of the parts arrived today, I got the 14" travel bilsteins, ferd brackets, pitman arm, steering arm and drag link. The Reid knuckle, PSC ported box and high output pump with reservoir and cooler should be here by the end of next week. My new tranny will also be here next Wednesday. I can't wait to try this stuff out!

Ya it was but it was one of those rare times in my life when I had the extra money to be able to get it all at once. Normally I have to piece everything together over time.

you will love the crossover.  instantly you will have more travel and with the shocks that will help a lot too.  the flex and droop was one of the first things i noticed after crossover
just all bad luck at this point.  whatever is the worst that can happen will

I didn't realize the crossover would give me more travel too so getting the longer shocks will be a plus.

Well I got home from Phoenix yesterday and found the rest of my steering parts arrived. I picked up all the steel and welding supplies I needed to build rock sliders, tube doors and a winch bumper. I also picked up a 10k lb Bulldog winch and recovery kit. I'm broke now but I got the things I really need for now and now I have a lot of work to do then start saving for the next upgrade. ;D
