after a few hours and laughs of working on this pimpmobile, i discovered the timing was 4°retarded. Set that at 11°advanced and it runs like a raped ape. Then i checked compression and i have 140-150psi in 7 cylinders........... 0psi in the number 3 cylinder. OUCH!

Popped the valve cover off and found a rocker arm pivot busted in half. Luckily harley has an extra 500 sitting in his garage so i can steal one of those.

overall i was really impressed with how much power this thing had with a dead cylinder. I'm really excited to get it back together and feel what it really has with 8 cylinders!

also josh is buying the car once the motor and trans is pulled so this car will avoid the crusher

do you have the motor out yet? i'll probably have to pick my garage up & move it back 15' just to get the damn thing in the driveway. i'm still not sure what i'm going to put in it. i scored a precision 91.5mm turbo(1550 rated) with a broken impeller blade that would be balls out on an lq9. but the thought of a cummins would be cool also....or maybe a sami 1.3. ha
