Project Rebeltoy gettin new parts

i just realized there was a build thread so movin the stuff from the toyot aone to here lol
!983 1st generation toyota pickup bobbed and dovetailed 12 inches on 35s chevy s10 springs in the rear 4 inch all pro springs up front bilsteins up front cross over hi steer ifs steerin box flatbelly. Have tons more of plans either guna stay all yota and do 22ret or something but might also change otu for chevy running gear

when it first started

then how it sat after gettin broke down again



and now how it sits

the last two where in box canyon a year ago 2 wheel had no front driveline and still gota get one made but gota find somebody to help lol

got ALOT of plans for this thing its my pride and joy might not be much to look at but yeah lol

thinkin of either buildin up a 22ret or 350 and stroke it out to 383 and tons and 4speed and dual tcases with 40s lockers f/r exo cage and lots more ideas will take a while but it will get there

dont build a RET....i started one and to have the same power as a SBF  it was apx 4k into the turbo motor....

so i got a line up on a 350 motor for probably 100 bucks ill go through stroke it bore it build it up and possibly a 4speed and 205 tcasefor the yota now just gota find a good deal on 1tons

Do tons of research and be prepared to hack a huge section of your firewall out...or your core support. My 5.0 barely fit with no chopping and its a lot smaller than a SBC...

hey man yeah im slowly working on it got the 350 tore down almost to bare block it almost ready for machine shop to bore it and dip and new cam bearing and freze plugs and everything but just gota wait a lil til spare cash again havent been workin this week cuz of rain so this coming paycheck guna suck

I highly recomend getting the motor ballanced. Not many people do it but it's well worth the couple extra bucks

in need of a good deal on the following list:

*either 3/4 ton or 1 ton chevy axles

*chevy 4speed with granny gear

*205 203 transfer case to make doubler(not very familiar on chevy tcases yet)

and other odds and ends that im forgeting ill need for this swap lol
